Join Phoenix as a Crisis Support Evening Worker and provide vital assistance to youth in need.
Your role will include crisis intervention and ensuring safety during shifts.
As a key player at the Phoenix Youth Shelter, you will work to support youth aged 16-24, helping them navigate their challenges during your evening shifts. With responsibilities ranging from crisis management to basic needs assessments, this position requires solid understanding and experience in youth support services. Core competencies include interpersonal communication and the ability to remain alert throughout the shift.
Key Responsibilities:
• Address immediate needs and support youth effectively
• Supervise program activities and ensure safety protocols
• Deliver therapeutic support and crisis management
• Engage in cooking and cleaning responsibilities
• Keep accurate logs and liaise with the day shift staff
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or equivalent
• At least two years in a youth residential environment
• Comprehensive knowledge of youth development issues
• Proficient with crisis intervention techniques
• Physical capacity to meet job demands
