Position: Waverly Summer Program Counselor Role
Become a Waverly Summer Program Counselor and contribute to the Shared Spaces Program, empowering individuals with disabilities to socially connect and thrive. Engage participants through community-oriented activities focused on inclusion and support.

In this role, you will assist participants in meaningful recreational and life skills activities, fostering independence and social bonds. The ideal Summer Program Counselor values community engagement, has a strong passion for advocacy, and is experienced in social services or education. You'll work to promote a safe, respectful environment within the program.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure safe and enjoyable experiences for all participants

• Act as a guardian and coach for personal development

• Treat participants with dignity and respect at all times

• Encourage community access and independence through activities

• Maintain program cleanliness and order

Requirements:

• Currently pursuing a university degree is preferred

• Experience in special needs support is a plus

• Strong interpersonal and teamwork abilities

• Good organizational judgment

• Valid driving license and vehicle necessary
