Join the YWCA Halifax team as a Program Lead for supportive housing. Focus on developing and implementing impactful operational procedures that enhance resident support.
This integral full-time role encompasses overseeing daily operations and the staffing model for the housing program. The Program Lead ensures the safety of residents by implementing best practices in risk management and compliance with funding requirements through detailed reporting. Flexibility in working hours and availability for on-call services is essential to success in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Establish operational policies for the supportive housing program
• Supervise 24/7 staffing for resident support
• Coordinate with external agencies for comprehensive care
• Manage program data and compliance for funding
• Uphold programming excellence through quality management
Requirements:
• Degree in Social Work or a related discipline
• At least 3 years of relevant experience
• Understanding of feminist perspectives and intersectionality
• Familiarity with trauma-informed approaches
• Ability to work collaboratively in diverse settings
