The Local Area Coordinator (LAC) role is key in delivering the Nova Scotia Human Rights Remedy. This permanent position supports individuals and families through advocacy, service access, and community partnership development. You'll empower clients to create fulfilling lives through person-centered planning and decision-making.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Social Work or related field
Minimum two years of experience supporting people with disabilities
Expertise in person-centered support approaches
Solid communication skills for diverse stakeholders
Proven leadership in disability advocacy
