Become a Community Mental Health Worker at JAZ Community Support Limited, where you'll engage directly with individuals needing mental health assistance in a full-time capacity. This position requires onsite work only.
As a key member of JAZ Community Support Limited, you will be responsible for providing effective support to clients in urban areas. Your work will encompass supporting individuals with diverse socio-economic needs, implementing life skills programs, and facilitating crisis intervention. Building effective relationships with clients and community agencies will drive the success of your role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create and maintain client case histories
• Evaluate clients’ needs for appropriate services
• Lead and execute life skills training sessions
• Manage crises and mediate conflict effectively
• Work closely with healthcare and social service partners
Requirements:
• High school graduation education is essential
• Experience with in community services is advantageous
• Certification in First Aid, CPR, and medication administration
• Required to pass a criminal record and child registry checks
• Onsite work is mandatory, no remote options
