As the Disability Benefits Navigator for the GAIN Program, your role will be vital in assisting individuals and their families to understand and access federal and provincial disability benefits. You will provide personalized guidance throughout the application process and ensure clients receive the necessary healthcare and community support tailored to their unique needs. Your strong communication skills will help enhance clients' wellbeing and independence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Guide clients through benefits eligibility and application processes

• Assist with follow-ups and appeals when necessary

• Stay informed on updates regarding benefits programs

• Build rapport with clients and external partners

• Document all service-related activities accurately

Requirements:

• Proficiency in disability benefits (DTC, CDB)

• 2+ years experience in healthcare navigation

• Diploma in Social Services or related field

• Excellent communication and organizational skills

• Experience with diverse populations valued
