Join Gędęǫ’ as a Crisis Clinician to deliver essential mental wellness support in Six Nations. Provide crisis intervention, community connections, and assist individuals in their time of need.
The Crisis Clinician position reports directly to the Crisis Hub Manager and emphasizes teamwork in delivering timely crisis interventions. You will assess individuals in crisis across all age groups, manage crises effectively, and ensure connections to valuable community resources. As part of an integrated team, your role will involve responding to community needs through telephone, walk-in, and mobile crisis support.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct assessments to stabilize individuals in crisis
• Provide mobile crisis responses and support
• Connect community members to local resources
• Collaborate with Six Nations Police and Crisis Hub Manager
• Manage telephone and walk-in crisis inquiries
Requirements:
• Relevant experience or training in crisis intervention
• Strong communication and crisis management skills
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
• Willingness to engage with diverse community members
• Commitment to supporting mental wellness
