As an Overnight Support Worker, you will work directly at the Halifax Centre of Hope. This position involves working collaboratively with staff, managing security checks, and ensuring clients receive necessary support. Your experience in social services will help foster a therapeutic environment and assist with administrative needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist Clients, ensuring comfort and safety

• Conduct active security checks throughout the night

• Support clients with medication and mail distribution

• Maintain cleanliness of all service areas

• Complete required documentation accurately

Requirements:

• 1-3 years in social service or a related field

• Certification in First Aid and Crisis Intervention

• Understanding of homelessness and mental health

• Strong organizational and communication abilities

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
