Work will be performed in a Linux environment using Python, BASH, Java, and C++. Knowledge of combat management system software and mission systems is considered an asset.
Primary Tasks Designing, executing, and maintaining functional tests to verify user stories and software requirements
Designing, executing, and maintaining automated tests as part of continuous regression testing
Documenting test results in the Agile project management system and the test management system
Identifying, assessing, documenting, and retesting defects to help improve overall quality
What you bring to the role Bachelor's degree from a recognized university in computer science or a related engineering discipline
2 to 4 years of professional experience
Willingness to work team schedules, including evenings and weekends as required
Ability to solve difficult problems as part of a team
A high degree of initiative or autonomy
Ability to obtain NATO Secret security clearance
Additional desired skills Strong knowledge of software development and testing
Strong knowledge of test automation
Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite
Good knowledge of Linux
Good knowledge of BASH and Python
Good knowledge of Java and C++
Good knowledge of Subversion or Git
Experience with DOORS (dynamic object‑oriented requirements management system) is considered an asset
Experience with networking and networked tools is considered an asset
Experience with Agile Scrum methodology is considered an asset
