Be a key player at Thumbtack as a Senior Android Engineer. Use your Android development expertise to support our Marketplace team in a fully remote role.
Bring your minimum five years of industry experience to drive engineering projects that significantly affect business outcomes. This role requires collaboration with product designers and data professionals to innovate and execute impactful mobile solutions. You’ll also lead small teams, ensuring the efficient development of Android features and applications.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead engineering projects with a focus on results
• Create and implement Android applications effectively
• Address technical challenges across various layers
• Collaborate with product and design partners
• Mentor other engineers and share knowledge
Requirements:
• 5+ years' experience in engineering
• Proficient in Kotlin or Java for mobile
• Familiarity with libraries like Crashlytics and Dagger
• Enthusiastic about delivering high-quality apps
• Strong problem-solving skills and persistence
