Advance your career with Cognizant as a Senior Apigee Developer, designing enterprise-grade APIs in a hybrid work environment. Engage in 2-3 days per week onsite in Halifax or Mississauga.
As part of the API Engineering & Integration team, your role will revolve around creating and governing scalable APIs using Apigee. You are expected to drive API enhancements while ensuring security and compliance in a collaborative setting. Your experience will be instrumental in evolving API infrastructure to meet business needs swiftly.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop APIs on Apigee using manual and pipeline methods
• Create and configure API proxies and share flows
• Perform API version upgrades and maintain compatibility
• Conduct PR reviews and enforce naming conventions
• Support API deployment across various environments
Requirements:
• 6–10 years of IT background; 5+ years Apigee development
• Proficient in API lifecycle and security practices
• Experience with CI/CD deployment
• Understanding of REST-based architecture
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
