Reporting to the Principal Software Engineer, you will design, build, and support the internal mobile applications used every day by our residents, families, guests, club members, and team members. From point-of-care tools and workforce communications to resident services, dining reservations, recreation programming, and amenity bookings, you'll develop mobile experiences that directly support life within our communities.
This role offers the opportunity to lead the development of enterprise mobile applications while solving unique challenges found in healthcare and seniors' living, including shared devices, intermittent connectivity, accessibility, and secure access to sensitive information. Working closely with operational leaders and fellow software engineers, you'll build reliable, user-friendly applications that make our internal everyday work simpler and enhance the experience of those we serve.

Design, develop, and maintain mobile applications for iOS and Android that support residents, families, guests, and team membersCreate intuitive, accessible mobile experiences that meet the needs of diverse users, including older adults and frontline staffBuild resilient mobile applications that support offline functionality and secure data synchronizationIntegrate mobile applications with enterprise APIs, authentication services, and notification platformsManage application releases through enterprise mobile deployment platforms and support ongoing application monitoring and performanceParticipate in code reviews, automated testing, release management, and continuous improvement of mobile development standardsPartner with clinical, operational, recreation, dining, and IT teams to design practical solutions that improve daily workflowsAbout You
In addition to placing high value on collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement, you bring:
8+ years of professional experience developing and supporting mobile applicationsDegree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experienceExperience building cross-platform mobile applications using React Native, Flutter, or similar technologies, and/or native development using Swift or KotlinStrong understanding of mobile architecture, local data storage, synchronization, performance optimization, and application lifecycle managementExperience implementing secure authentication, identity management, and mobile security best practicesFamiliarity with automated testing, mobile CI/CD pipelines, and application deploymentStrong understanding of accessibility standards and user-centered mobile designExcellent ability to collaborate across technical and operational teamsAsset
Qualifications:
