The Role  As a Senior Full Stack Developer, you will make an impact by designing, developing, and enhancing scalable web applications and APIs using modern frontend and backend technologies. You will be a valued member of the engineering team and collaborate closely with architects, product owners, UX designers, and fellow developers to deliver high-quality digital solutions.
In This Role, You Will   Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using Node.js.
Build responsive and user‑friendly web applications using React.js.
Develop and consume GraphQL APIs while ensuring performance, security, and maintainability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Optimize application performance, troubleshoot production issues, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Based on this role's business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring  2-3 days per week  in a Cognizant office. What You Need To Have To Be Considered   Strong hands‑on experience developing backend applications with Node.js.
Proven experience building modern frontend applications using React.js.
Experience designing and implementing GraphQL APIs and schema development.
Solid understanding of RESTful services, API integration, and web application architecture.

Experience with asynchronous programming, performance optimization, and application troubleshooting.
Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work in Agile development environments.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
These will help you stand out   Experience working with microservices‑based architectures.
Knowledge of GraphQL performance optimization techniques, including Data Loader and query optimization.

Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and Dev Ops practices.

Experience with Type Script and modern frontend development tools.
Compensation  The annual salary for this position ranges from  $90,000 to $100,000 , depending on experience and qualifications. This role is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, subject to performance and applicable plan terms.
