Apply Java development and Kubernetes expertise to naval Combat Management System software through the full engineering lifecycle.

This Software Engineer works within a multidisciplinary Agile team supporting large-scale, high-complexity naval platform systems. The work spans requirements, design, development, integration, testing, deployment, maintenance, and field troubleshooting. The primary technologies include Java, Kubernetes, Spring Boot, and RESTful APIs.

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze and review software requirements
Analyze and review software designs
Develop Java software with Kubernetes containerization
Perform unit testing and documentation
Support integration, deployment, and troubleshooting

Requirements:

Degree in software, computer engineering, computer science, or related field
Two to five years of general development experience
Experience with Kubernetes, Podman, or Docker
Experience deploying Kubernetes applications through Helm
Spring Boot, relational databases, Linux, Git, and CI/CD experience

Contribute Java, Kubernetes, and Spring Boot expertise to complex naval systems supporting Combat Management System development.
