- Education:
No degree, certificate or diploma - Experience:
Will train Tasks - Operate and drive automobiles, vans and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products
- Professionalism in customer service
- Accept payment or invoices for items delivered
- Receive and relay information to central dispatch
- Assemble, install and set-up merchandise/products
- Keep a record of items received and delivered
- Prepare, package and restock goods
- Load and unload goods
- Sort packages for delivery
- Follow directions and read map
- Use maps and other trip planning aids
- Record trip information such as vehicle mileage, fuel costs and any problems
- Provide customer service
- Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle Support for persons with disabilities
- Provides physical accessibility accommodations (for example: ramps, elevators, etc.) Support for newcomers and refugees
- Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports newcomers and/or refugees Support for youths
- Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports youth employment Support for Veterans
- Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports Veterans Support for Indigenous people
- Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports Indigenous people Support for mature workers
- Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports mature workers Supports for visible minorities
- Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports members of visible minorities
