At Sysco, we are looking for a dependable Class 1 Delivery Driver to join our Halifax team. This full-time role involves delivering various products safely and efficiently while ensuring customer satisfaction. You will execute deliveries, operate company-specific delivery systems, and comply with all safety standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Drive assigned routes to deliver products accurately
• Unload products and arrange them in designated areas
• Navigate the delivery system to check in items securely
• Document transactions and secure payments as needed
• Carry out pre and post-trip vehicle evaluations
Requirements:
• Valid Class 1 Driver's License required
• Minimum 1 year of commercial driving experience
• Ability to communicate effectively in English
• Strong customer service focus
• Basic arithmetic skills for handling invoices
