As a Transportation Analyst in Strategic Infrastructure & Transportation Planning, your primary responsibilities will include developing data collection methodologies, maintaining performance measures, and producing insightful reports for management and stakeholders. Collaboration with internal teams and external partners is key, as you evaluate transportation trends, policies, and best practices to recommend improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop methodologies for data collection and analysis
• Maintain performance measures through robust data sources
• Produce statistical reports for management and stakeholders
• Collaborate with departments to enhance data management
• Conduct analysis on various transportation aspects
Requirements:
• University degree in planning, engineering, or statistics
• At least one year of experience in transportation planning
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and database management
• Familiarity with GIS, CAD, and traffic analysis software
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
This role requires analytical thinking and creative problem-solving to enhance transportation planning efforts in Halifax.
