Ramp Operations Specialist

Take on the role of Ramp Operations Specialist for Porter Airlines at Halifax Stanfield International Airport, focusing on safety and effective team management. Your expertise will enhance operational efficiency.
In this position, you'll oversee the effective execution of ramp operations while ensuring that safety protocols are maintained. Collaborate with the Station Manager and contracted staff to ensure the successful execution of ground handling operations. Your contributions will be pivotal in addressing issues and driving continuous improvement of the Turn process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee training compliance of ground handling teams

• Maintain appropriate staffing levels for every flight turn

• Enforce safety procedures and monitor adherence

• Encourage cross-departmental communication for smooth Turn execution

• Conduct audits with Airports QA for safety compliance
Requirements:

• 3-5 years of ramp experience in the airline industry

• Proven leadership abilities

• Strong planning and resource management skills

• Valid driver's license with a clean record

• Ability to travel when necessary
