This role involves maintaining roads within Beardys & Okemasis Cree Nation by performing essential tasks like grading, snow removal, and gravel spreading. As a Road Grader Operator, you will ensure proper drainage and uphold high safety standards while operating equipment. A strong mechanical background is necessary to identify issues before they escalate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate motor grader for road maintenance

• Grade roads for optimal drainage and surface

• Remove wash boarding and potholes from surfaces

• Spread gravel and road-building materials evenly

• Complete preventative maintenance inspections and logs

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Heavy equipment program certification

• 3-5 years previous operator experience

• Valid Class 5 driver’s license

• Ability to provide a CPIC
