About the Role
Our client is currently seeking a skilled and safety-focused Red Seal Truck & Transport Technician to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing Transport Canada–inspected passenger vehicles/vessels, ensuring they operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all regulatory standards. This is an excellent opportunity for a dependable, detail-oriented technician who takes pride in their work and thrives in a structured, safety-first environment.
Key Responsibilities

Perform maintenance and repairs on Transport Canada inspected passenger vehicles/vessels

Ensure all equipment meets Transport Canada standards

Conduct routine inspections to identify and address unsafe conditions

Maintain accurate maintenance logs and service records

Support inventory management, including replenishment and annual audits

Follow all company policies and safety procedures

Maintain a clean and organized workspace at all times

Complete apprentice documentation as required

Assist with additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

Valid Red Seal Truck and Transport Certification

Clean driver’s abstract

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Proven ability to maintain regulated vehicles to compliance standards

Excellent organizational and time management abilities

High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities

Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing hands-on tasks (standing, bending, lifting)
