Aviation Pilot at Custom Helicopters

Become an essential part of Custom Helicopters as an Aviation Pilot based in Goose Bay, responsible for safe helicopter operations across various sectors, including fire suppression and medical transport.

This position is key to ensuring every flight is conducted safely and efficiently under the guidance of the Senior Operations Manager. You will be in charge of all preflight preparations, thorough inspections, and accurate communication with maintenance teams.

Your role will not only involve piloting but also managing flight records and maintaining aircraft performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Pilot aircraft safely according to established regulations

• Prepare daily inspections before takeoff

• Devise comprehensive flight plans for missions

• Conduct preflight safety checks and coordinate with maintenance

• Record all flight data and ensure equipment readiness

Requirements:

• Canadian Commercial Pilot License (H)

• Minimum 1000 flight hours, including 500 PIC

• Experience in remote regions is a plus

• Ability to obtain valid passport and pass a background check

• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
