Agilus by Synergie is recruiting for several Residential Garbage Collectorss in the Waste Management sector in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
- $18.00 hourly
- Paid weekly + 4% vacation pay
- Consistent day shifts starting at 7:00 AM
- Potential for role to become permanent
- Work with an established and supportive team
- Ride on the rear platform of a garbage collection truck and assist with residential waste pickup
- Ensure no waste is left behind at the pickup locations
- Monitor the area around the truck to keep operations safe for pedestrians and vehicles
- Collect, load, and dispose of waste materials safely and efficiently
- Assist with general labour duties as required
- Ability to lift 50-70 pounds repetitively
- Reliable transportation
- Must have your own 8' CSA approved steel toed boots, safety vest and gloves
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Flexible to perform other general labour tasks as required
- Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented attitude
