Drive DHL Express deliveries in Halifax with a valid Class 5 licence and customer service skills. Availability is required for on-call shifts between 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m.
This casual Courier Driver position combines van driving, parcel handling, customer interaction, and warehouse support. You will complete deliveries and pickups while processing freight according to procedures and security policies. The role requires accurate, timely work under pressure and collaboration with the team.
Key Responsibilities:- Drive a van for assigned deliveries and pickups
- Lift and carry parcels weighing up to 70 pounds
- Scan, sort, process, and move freight accurately
- Complete warehouse checks and accurate reporting
- Maintain a safe, clean, cooperative warehouse environment
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Class 5 driver’s licence and clean driving record
- Comfortable Excel user with good Microsoft Office knowledge
- Ability to handle bulky, heavy, awkward shipments
- Minimum one year warehouse or customer service experience is an asset
