Laidlaw Carriers Van seeks experienced Highway Company Drivers for full-time Canada and United States routes. This Halifax-based position serves drivers living throughout most Atlantic provinces. Operations run 24/7, with trips typically lasting 7–10 days. The work requires safety, reliability, communication, and accurate documentation.
Key Responsibilities:- Haul dry van freight between Canada and the United States
- Follow safety, compliance, and cross-border regulations
- Complete dispatch-assigned work efficiently and professionally
- Maintain accurate logs and required documentation
- Valid AZ licence or Class 1 licence
- Minimum two years verified Canada and United States driving experience
- Clean CVOR and Driver’s Abstract
- Clean criminal record check for cross-border travel
- Willingness to travel into the United States regularly
