Material Warehouse Coordinator

Join IMP Aerospace & Defence in Halifax, NS, as a Material Warehouse Coordinator. Oversee operations supporting Canadian Search and Rescue helicopters through efficient material handling and logistics management.

The Warehouse Coordinator position reports to the Manager of CH149 Warehouse operations, focusing on all aspects of material support under the CROSS contract. You'll play a key role in shipping, receiving, and maintaining inventory accuracy while ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Collaborate with various departments to help resolve technical and logistical challenges effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the reception and inspection of incoming materials

• Facilitate accurate sorting and issuance of parts

• Carry out inspections and record shortages or damages

• Prepare shipping documentation and material vouchers

• Operate forklifts and other relevant machinery

Requirements:

• Grade twelve diploma and a minimum of 3 years experience

• Knowledge of warehouse and material control processes

• Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken forms

• Proficient in MS Office and inventory management systems

• Commitment to continuous improvement and safety policies
