Support KENT customers through product knowledge, order preparation, and physical yard work while managing inventory with D365. Work outdoors across changing weather conditions.
As a Yard Associate, you will greet customers, provide product information, arrange deliveries, and assist with loading. The position combines customer service, manual handling, inventory updates, and safe yard operations. You will prepare orders, documents, and merchandise for pickup or delivery.
Key Responsibilities:- Greet customers and provide product information and sales assistance
- Load and unload materials for pickup or delivery
- Prepare orders, invoices, quotes, and delivery documents
- Replenish stock and maintain an organized, clean yard
- Update inventory using the D365 system
- Must be at least 21 for forklift operation requirements
- Safety mindset with strong attention to detail
- Communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
- Ability to lift 55 pounds and work outdoors
- Availability for rotating days, evenings, and weekends
