Lead underground mining shifts across Canadian Operations with supervisory expertise and a four weeks on, four weeks off roster. Experienced leadership is essential.
Barminco seeks experienced Shift Supervisors for underground mine operations. You will oversee shift workers, equipment usage, safety, productivity, and daily site activities. The position includes training national supervisors and developing workforce capability through practical assessments, mentoring, and performance reviews.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee shift workers and equipment usage underground
- Organise crews, rosters, and daily site operations
- Conduct work planning and toolbox meetings
- Report safety issues and submit incident reports
- Train, assess, mentor, and review workforce development
- Minimum five years underground shift supervision experience
- Current Underground Shift Supervisors Ticket
- Demonstrated leadership and supervisory experience
- Current drivers licence
- Proactive safety attitude and driven work ethic
