Payroll Administrator | Halifax | Full Time / Part Time | £25,000 - £30,000 FTE

The RoleAn opportunity has arisen for an experienced Payroll Administrator to join the firm's payroll department. Reporting to a Director, you will be responsible for managing the payroll function, ensuring the accurate and timely processing of client payrolls while supporting both clients and colleagues.
This is a permanent position available on either a full-time or part-time basis, with negotiable working hours.
Key Responsibilities- Support the day-to-day running of the payroll department, working alongside the Payroll Support Worker
- Process end-to-end payrolls for a range of clients using Sage Payroll
- Ensure compliance with payroll legislation including RTI, SSP, SMP, SPP and Auto Enrolment
- Administer CIS payroll requirements
- Liaise professionally with clients and internal managers
- Provide support and guidance to the Payroll Support Worker where required
- Maintain accurate payroll records and ensure deadlines are consistently met
- Assist with payroll queries and provide excellent customer service
- Minimum of 3 years' payroll experience
- Working knowledge of processing a variety of end-to-end payrolls using Sage Payroll
- Knowledge of CIS
- Working knowledge of RTI, SSP, SMP, SPP and Automatic Enrolment
- Ability to deal with external clients and internal managers
- Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
- Able to work on own initiative and as part of a team
- General management skills
- £25,000 - £30,000 FTE, dependent upon experience
- Negotiable working hours
