Bid Writer - Training Provided

Location: Halifax (Hybrid - 1 day office / 4 days home)

Full-time | Permanent

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm

Salary: £32,000 - £34,000

We're pleased to be working with a supportive and well-established company based in Halifax, who are looking to recruit a Bid Writer to join their team on a permanent, full-time basis. This is a development-focused role, with full training provided, making it an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administrative skills who is interested in building a long-term career in bid writing.

The role:

As a Bid Writer, you will support the preparation of high-quality tender submissions to win new business and secure renewals of existing contracts. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Writing and contributing to tender submissions in line with client, portal and framework requirements
  • Using online tender portals and frameworks to complete and submit bids
  • Ensuring all relevant processes and governance procedures are followed
  • Managing deadlines and prioritising workloads, with some flexibility required during busy submission periods
  • Building effective working relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders
  • Maintaining accurate documentation and ensuring attention to detail throughout the process
About you:
  • Strong administrative experience with excellent organisational skills
  • High attention to detail and ability to follow structured processes
  • Confident written communication skills
  • Proactive, reliable and keen to learn
  • An interest in developing a career within bid writing

Previous bid writing experience is not required, as full training and ongoing support will be provided.
