Bid Writer - Training Provided
Location: Halifax (Hybrid - 1 day office / 4 days home)
Full-time | Permanent
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm
Salary: £32,000 - £34,000
We're pleased to be working with a supportive and well-established company based in Halifax, who are looking to recruit a Bid Writer to join their team on a permanent, full-time basis. This is a development-focused role, with full training provided, making it an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administrative skills who is interested in building a long-term career in bid writing.
The role:As a Bid Writer, you will support the preparation of high-quality tender submissions to win new business and secure renewals of existing contracts. Key responsibilities will include:
- Writing and contributing to tender submissions in line with client, portal and framework requirements
- Using online tender portals and frameworks to complete and submit bids
- Ensuring all relevant processes and governance procedures are followed
- Managing deadlines and prioritising workloads, with some flexibility required during busy submission periods
- Building effective working relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders
- Maintaining accurate documentation and ensuring attention to detail throughout the process
- Strong administrative experience with excellent organisational skills
- High attention to detail and ability to follow structured processes
- Confident written communication skills
- Proactive, reliable and keen to learn
- An interest in developing a career within bid writing
Previous bid writing experience is not required, as full training and ongoing support will be provided.
What's on offer:- £32,000 - £34,000 salary
- Hybrid working - 1 day per week in the Halifax office and 4 days from home
