Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with Special Educational Needs? Prospero Teaching is looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school in Halifax.
Role Responsibilities- Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEN, including Autism, ADHD, SEMH, and other learning needs
- Assist the class teacher in delivering inclusive learning strategies
- Support pupils social, emotional, and academic development
- Promote a safe and nurturing environment
- Previous experience working with SEN children in an educational setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Team Teach training (desirable)
- Ability to adapt and remain calm under pressure
