Supply SEN Teaching Assistant

The Role

As a Supply SEN Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities will include:

• Providing tailored support to pupils with Special Educational Needs, including but not limited to ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and additional learning needs
• Working on a 1:1 basis or with small groups to support learning and engagement
• Supporting the class teacher with behaviour strategies and classroom activities
• Helping to foster a nurturing, inclusive, and safe learning environment
• Adapting your approach to meet the individual needs of each pupil

• Experience working with children or young people with SEN (school experience is advantageous)
• A calm, patient, and empathetic nature
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team
• An enhanced DBS registered on the update service, or willingness to apply for one
• The legal right to work in the UK
