Teacher Active is working with a mainstream secondary school based in Halifax. The school provides high standards of education and has recently been awarded a Good OFSTED rating. The school is well populated and offers facilities that promote student engagement to help students flourish academically and personally.

The Head Teacher is looking to appoint a driven Humanities Teacher on a long-term basis until roughly May, with the role potentially leading to a permanent position for the right candidate. The successful applicant will work across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (KS3/KS4).

• Deliver high-quality Humanities lessons across KS3/KS4 (and KS5 where applicable).
• Follow and implement the school’s schemes of learning.
• Adopt an interactive, hands-on teaching approach to support student engagement and achievement.

• QTS with a Humanities specialism (ECTS are welcome).
• Experience teaching Humanities at KS3-KS5.
• Excellent classroom management.
