Overview
As a SEN Learning Support Assistant you'll provide tailored support to pupils, enabling them to achieve their potential academically, socially, and emotionally across SEN Schools across Halifax.
Responsibilities- Assist in classroom activities and learning tasks.
- Provide 1:1 or small-group support to pupils with SEN.
- Encourage engagement, positive behaviour, and confidence.
- Implement IEPs and monitor pupil progress.
- Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals.
- Experience supporting children with additional needs.
- Patient, empathetic, and proactive.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Knowledge of safeguarding and inclusion practices.
