Secondary School Cover Supervisors - Urgently Required
Academics are seeking reliable, confident Cover Supervisors to work in secondary schools across Halifax. We have high demand to provide day-to-day, flexible supply cover as well as long-term placements across a variety of subjects/year groups.
An excellent opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers, or experienced education professionals looking for flexible or consistent work locally.
The Role:- Supervising whole classes during teacher absence
- Delivering pre-set work across various subjects
- Managing classroom behaviour effectively
- Ensuring students remain on task/engaged
- Recent experience working with young people (school-based experience desirable) OR degree in relevant teachable subject
- Strong classroom management skills
- A professional, adaptable and proactive approach
