We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teacher to join a supportive and forward‑thinking specialist provision in Halifax. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator to work with pupils who have a range of Special Educational Needs, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and complex learning needs.

You will play a key role in providing highly personalised teaching that enables every learner to make meaningful progress academically, socially, and emotionally.

• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual needs
• Work closely with the SENCO and support staff to deliver EHCP targets
• Create a nurturing, inclusive and safe learning environment
• Use a range of strategies to support communication, behaviour and emotional regulation
• Develop strong relationships with pupils, families and external agencies
• Track progress and maintain accurate records
• Contribute to the wider life of the school and uphold safeguarding standards

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Experience teaching pupils with SEN (specialist or mainstream setting)
• Strong understanding of SEND teaching strategies and behaviour support
• Calm, resilient and able to adapt to changing needs
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Passionate about helping pupils overcome barriers and succeed
