About this role:
Justteachers is recruiting a full-time Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to work in a nurturing and inclusive primary school in Halifax for an ASAP start. The school prides itself on providing exceptional support for pupils with additional needs, ensuring every child has the opportunity to thrive.
Key Responsibilities:- Support pupils 1:1 and in small groups across the school
- Assist the class teacher in delivering differentiated learning
- Provide support for pupils with SEND, including social, emotional, and academic needs
- Help create a positive, structured, and safe learning environment
- Contribute to progress monitoring and individual support plans
- Previous experience working as an LSA or within an educational setting
- Strong understanding of safeguarding and SEND support
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Patience, flexibility, and a nurturing approach
- Ability to provide references from education-based roles
