About the Role
Justteachers is seeking a full-time Cover Supervisor for a dynamic secondary school in Halifax. The school is known for its strong sense of community and commitment to academic excellence. This long-term role starts ASAP and is ideal for someone confident in managing classrooms and supporting pupils’ learning.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise classes during teacher absence, ensuring a positive learning environment
- Deliver pre-prepared work and maintain pupil engagement
- Manage behaviour effectively in line with school policies
- Support the wider school community when required.
- Previous experience working with young people in an educational setting.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Excellent safeguarding knowledge and practice.
- Ability to provide two education-based references.
