We're working with a friendly and ambitious secondary school in Halifax looking for a Geography Teacher who can turn maps, migration, rivers, and rainforests into lessons students genuinely look forward to.

What you'll be doing- Teaching Geography across KS3 and KS4
- Delivering creative and engaging lessons that bring learning to life
- Encouraging students to think critically about environmental and global issues
- Planning, assessing, and adapting lessons to meet the needs of all learners
- Working alongside a collaborative Humanities department that values fresh ideas and innovation
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or working towards it
- A Geography specialism or relevant Humanities qualification
- Strong classroom management and relationship‑building skills
- A passion for helping young people succeed
- Someone who can inspire curiosity and confidence in every lesson
- A supportive and approachable leadership team
- Modern teaching facilities and excellent resources
- Strong behaviour management systems
- Ongoing CPD and progression opportunities
- A welcoming school community where staff wellbeing matters
Weekly pay through PAYE, no umbrella companies
All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
