Protocol Education is actively seeking a dedicated Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant to be based in Halifax. This position offers a remarkable opportunity to work closely with students who require additional support in their learning, helping them navigate challenges and realise their full potential in an inclusive educational environment.

Key responsibilities:

  • Participate in planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate learning activities
  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment
  • Support the emotional, social, and cognitive development of students
  • Track and monitor student progress, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records
  • Collaborate with teachers, SEN coordinators (SENCOs), and parents to implement and Review Individual Education Plans (IIEPs)

What we are looking for:

  • Previous experience working with children with SEN is desirable but not essential
  • A passion for inclusive education and a desire to make a positive impact
  • Have apatient, resilient, and positive attitude towards learning and behaviour support
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant) would be advantageous, but not essential
  • A valid

    Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checkor willingness to obtain one
