We're working with a friendly and well-established secondary school in Halifax that's looking for a confident Cover Supervisor to support pupils across Key Stages 3 and 4. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with young people and wants to gain valuable classroom experience in a supportive school environment.

Whether you're an aspiring teacher, a recent graduate, or someone with experience working with young people, this role offers the chance to make a genuine difference while building your skills in education.

• Supervising lessons in the absence of the class teacher
• Delivering pre-prepared lesson materials across a range of subjects
• Maintaining a positive and focused learning environment
• Managing classroom behaviour in line with school expectations
• Supporting students with their learning and engagement
• Providing clear feedback to teaching staff at the end of lessons

• Has experience working with young people in schools, sports coaching, youth work, tutoring, or similar settings
• Is confident leading groups and managing behaviour positively
• Has strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Can adapt quickly and stay calm under pressure
• Is enthusiastic, reliable, and professional
• Holds a degree or relevant experience (desirable but not essential)
