MFL Teacher (French & Spanish)

Location: Halifax

Pay: £168 - £250 per day (depending on experience)

Contract: Full-time, Long-term

Start Date: September 2026 (or sooner)

We are working with a well-regarded secondary school in Halifax seeking a dedicated Modern Foreign Languages Teacher to join their team. The successful candidate will deliver engaging French and/or Spanish lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, helping students develop confidence, communication skills, and a love of languages.

• Deliver high-quality French and/or Spanish lessons across KS3 and KS4
• Plan, prepare, and assess engaging learning activities
• Monitor student progress and provide effective feedback
• Create a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment
• Contribute to the wider success of the MFL department

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification
• Has experience teaching French and/or Spanish within a secondary setting
• Demonstrates excellent classroom management skills
• Is committed to raising attainment and supporting student progress

  All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
