About the Role
Justteachers is seeking a full‑time Science Teacher for a forward‑thinking secondary school in Sowerby Bridge, starting September. This long‑term supply role is ideal for a teacher who is passionate about inspiring curiosity and fostering scientific thinking in young people.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging and differentiated Science lessons across KS3 and KS4.
- Support students with exam preparation, targeted intervention, and revision strategies.
- Track and monitor pupil progress, adapting teaching approaches to meet individual needs.
- Contribute to departmental planning, curriculum development, and enrichment activities.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Proven experience teaching Science within UK secondary schools.
- Strong understanding of safeguarding and commitment to best practice.
- Confident and consistent behaviour management skills.
- Ability to provide two education‑based references.
