About the Role:
Justteachers is seeking an enthusiastic French Teacher to join a supportive secondary school in Halifax from September. This full-time, long-term supply position is ideal for a passionate languages specialist committed to broadening students’ cultural awareness and language skills.
Key Responsibilities:- Teach French across KS3, KS4 and up to A Level.
- Deliver high-quality lessons with a focus on exam success.
- Support students through targeted intervention and revision sessions.
- Monitor and assess pupil progress, adapting teaching as needed.
- Play an active role in departmental planning and enrichment opportunities.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Proven experience teaching French within UK secondary schools.
- Ability to teach confidently up to A Level.
- Strong knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
- Effective classroom and behaviour management skills.
- Two education-based references available on request.
