About the role:
Justteachers is seeking a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to join a dynamic and supportive secondary school in Halifax. The school prides itself on fostering a culture of academic excellence and creativity. This is a full‑time, long‑term supply position starting in September.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver engaging English lessons across KS3 and KS4.
- Prepare students for both practical and written examinations.
- Track and monitor pupil progress, adapting teaching strategies where necessary.
- Contribute to departmental planning and enrichment activities that promote reading and writing.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching English in UK secondary schools.
- Excellent safeguarding knowledge and practice.
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills. - Ability to provide two education‑based references
