Temporary Lecturer - Art & Design (UAL Level 2 & Level
3)

Location: Dean Clough, Halifax

Contract: Temporary

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am to 3pm

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Art & Design Lecturer to deliver UAL Level 2 and Level 3 Art & Design programmes at our campus in Dean Clough, Halifax.

This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator to inspire and support learners in developing their creative skills, artistic techniques and industry knowledge within a supportive Further Education environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons across UAL Level 2 and Level 3 Art & Design programmes.
• Prepare learning materials that meet awarding body requirements and curriculum objectives.
• Assess student work and provide constructive feedback to support learner progression.
• Monitor attendance, achievement and student engagement.
• Maintain accurate learner records and documentation.
• Support students in developing practical, creative and employability skills.
• Create a positive, inclusive and engaging learning environment.
• Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to curriculum development where required.
