We are recruiting for a Senior Site Engineer to join us here  are a leading civil engineering organisation delivering safe, sustainable, and efficient transport solutions across the UK.

• Leading and coordinating all utilities diversion and stats activities across the project, ensuring compliance with design and statutory requirements.
• Managing relationships with utility providers and stakeholders to plan and deliver diversions efficiently, minimising disruption and delays.
• Overseeing the setting out and verification of works related to utilities, including service corridors and associated infrastructure.
• Monitoring progress of utility works, resolving technical issues, and ensuring accurate records of diversions and installations.
• Supporting the site management team with programme planning, risk management, and integration of utilities works into the overall construction schedule.
• Reviewing and approving method statements, task briefings, and inspection/test plans for utility-related activities.
• Ensuring quality control and compliance with specifications, carrying out checks and maintaining detailed documentation.
• Driving health, safety, and environmental standards across all utility operations, promoting a safe working culture.
• Liaising with designers and client representatives to manage design changes and implement solutions for complex utility interfaces.
• Working in accordance with Octavius Business Management System policies and procedures.

• Experience on infrastructure and/or Civils works to include street works, earthworks, structures, highways, drainage or utilities.
• Experience in a structured environment with other Section Engineers, sub-contractors and site management team.

• HNC/Degree (Construction/Civil Engineering related) or equivalent and working towards institute membership (ICE).
• Experience of setting out on civil engineering projects and management of daily activities.
• CSCS Card.
• First Aid Training.
• IOSH / SSSTS training.
