THE ROLE:

As the Commercial Bid Manager
, you will take full responsibility for identifying and managing tender opportunities across NHS hospitals and the wider care sector. This role will involve sourcing opportunities through procurement portals and internal leads, completing RFIs, writing and developing high-quality bid responses, and managing the full process through to completion.

You will collaborate closely with internal departments (commercial, sales, marketing, operations and technical teams) to ensure bid submissions are accurate, compliant, compelling and aligned with wider business strategy. You will also build strong relationships with key stakeholders and clients, ensuring the organisation remains well-positioned for future opportunities.

THE PERSON:

To be considered for this Commercial Bid Manager role we are looking for:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a bid management / tender management role
  • Ideally experience within the healthcare, medical device, NHS supply, or public sector environment
  • Strong written communication skills and the ability to produce high-quality bid content
  • Resilient and able to manage multiple deadlines under pressure
  • Highly diligent, organised and process-driven
  • Confident working cross-functionally and engaging with internal stakeholders
