We are looking for an experienced ACP, ANP or Advanced Paramedic to join a well‑established GP surgery in Halifax, working within the Same Day / Acute Care clinics.
Responsibilities- Provide high‑quality same‑day and acute patient assessments.
- Diagnose and manage a range of acute presentations.
- Prescribe independently.
- Work closely with GPs and nurses.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation.
- Deliver safe, evidence‑based care.
- Contribute to smooth daily flow within acute clinics.
- Qualified ACP, ANP or Advanced Paramedic with Independent Prescriber experience.
- Experience working in GP or primary care settings.
- Confident managing acute, undifferentiated presentations.
- Comfortable working autonomously.
- Registered healthcare professional (e.g., nurse, paramedic).
- Current professional registration with the relevant governing body (NMC, HCPC).
- Masters level qualification in Advanced Clinical Practice (or working towards it).
