• Database skills – Oracle 10g and later and DB2
• Knowledge of AIX and Linux operating systems

• Overview knowledge of Mainframe
• Knowledge of Clear quest and Clearcase

• Experience of technical and operational processes used to deploy, support and maintain a Message Broker environment.
• Diagnostic skills and an ability to analyse technical information from multiple sources, allowing the provision of highly effective solutions in complex environments.
• Strong quality and service focus.
• Experience of delivering complex projects and / or incident recoveries.
• Experience of operating in a service delivery environment with good understanding of frameworks and processes.
• Proven systematic and analytical approach to problem solving with the ability to implement effective business solutions.
• Excellent communication skills
