Job Introduction

Join Sodexo as a Part-Time Cleaning Operative in Halifax and play a key role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our clients and colleagues. This is a great opportunity for a reliable and detail-focused individual who takes pride in their work and enjoys being part of a supportive team, delivering high standards of cleanliness and service.

• Complete all required training and carry out cleaning tasks as directed, including toilets, offices, and breakout areas
• Follow cleaning schedules, use safety signs and barriers where needed, and deliver work to a high standard
• Wear the correct uniform and personal protective equipment at all times
• Follow all Sodexo and client policies, including health & safety, security, hygiene, COSHH, and safe working practices
• Maintain cleaning cupboards, use colour coding correctly, and report any faults, hazards, incidents, or issues to a supervisor
• Work proactively as part of the team, engage positively with customers, attend team meetings, and support with additional hours or reasonable requests when required

• Previous all-round cleaning experience
• Able to work independently and manage time effectively
• Communicates clearly with clients, colleagues, and managers
• Good understanding of health & safety and COSHH
• Maintains a high standard of personal hygiene and appearance
